This 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible was fitted with a 426ci Hemi V8 during a refurbishment that was conducted under prior ownership and also involved installation of a five-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. The car is finished in yellow with a power-operated black soft top over white vinyl upholstery, and other equipment includes dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors, a dual exhaust system with headers and electric cut-outs, a Hotchkis Sport suspension kit, Bilstein shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels, air conditioning, a center console, a Keisler shifter, and an AM/FM radio. This modified Satellite was acquired by the seller in early 2024 and is now offered with a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name. The body is said to have been disassembled and placed on a rotisserie during the aforementioned refurbishment before it was repainted yellow. A replacement power-operated black convertible top and replacement glass were also installed at that time. Additional features include chrome bumpers and trim, dual side mirrors, a black top boot, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes chips in the paint. Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown red-line radial tires. A steel spare wheel with a Hankook tire is stored beneath the trunk floor. The car was fitted with a Hotchkis Sport suspension kit as well as Bilstein shocks at all four corners during the refurbishment. Stopping is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl along with color-matched door panels and black carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, a clock, a center console, and front and rear lap belts. The three-spoke woodgrain steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, alternator status, and oil pressure. A 6k-rpm tachometer is mounted ahead of the Keisler gear shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under the seller’s ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 426ci Hemi V8 was installed under previous ownership, and it is equipped with dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors. An oil change was performed most recently in July 2024. The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 361ci V8. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. The dual exhaust system features headers as well as electric cut-outs beneath the car.
