This 1966 Porsche 911 coupe is a European-specification example that was first delivered in France and was acquired by the current owner in 2010. Subsequent refurbishment work was completed in 2013 and included refinishing the car in Aga Blue, replacing the black vinyl upholstery, and overhauling the 2.0-liter flat-six and the five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, 15″ chrome wheels, yellow fog light lenses, VDO instrumentation, and a Grundig radio. This 911 coupe is now offered on dealer consignment in Voesendorf, Austria, with a copy of the vehicle’s Kardex, a Porsche certificate, service records, historical registration documents, touch-up paint, and refurbishment photos. The body was stripped, and the left door and rear quarter panels were replaced before the car was refinished in its factory shade of Aga Blue as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior details include gold rear badging, a retractable antenna, a left mirror, yellow fog light lenses, and bright trim. A Sonauto of Paris badge adorns the decklid. Chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels wear chrome covers and are wrapped in 165-width Michelin XAS tires displaying date codes from 2012. A full-size spare is stored in the front compartment. Bilstein dampers are fitted, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Photos of date code stampings and pitting on the chrome wheels are shown in the image gallery below. The cabin houses front bucket seats and folding rear seats that were reportedly reupholstered in black vinyl during the refurbishment. Appointments include front seat belts, wood dashboard trim, a dog-leg shifter, front and rear quarter vent windows, and a Grundig radio. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 250-km/h speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 90k kilometers (~56k miles), of which approximately 6k kilometers were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The air-cooled 2.0-liter Type 901/05 flat-six was rebuilt during the refurbishment and is equipped with electronic ignition and dual three-barrel Weber carburetors. An oil change was performed in May 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual Type 902/1 transaxle that was refreshed as part of the refurbishment. The gearbox fluid was flushed in May 2021. Photos taken during the refurbishment process are housed in a binder that is included in the sale. The Porsche certificate from June 2011 lists factory colors and the engine number. Engine stamping 908072 can be seen in the gallery along with a copy of the car’s Kardex.
