$30,000
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Chevrolet Corvette C2
Year: 1967

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was purchased by the seller in 2016 and again in 2022, and work since the seller’s first acquisition has included a refinish in maroon, the reupholstering of the interior, and a rebuild of the 327ci V8. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a removable hardtop, a black convertible soft top, 15″ turbine-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, power steering, a cabin heater, an aftermarket stereo, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered with clean Nevada title in the seller’s name. The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Marlboro Maroon (988) and is said to have been refinished in 2020. Additional work has included re-chroming the bumpers and replacing the side-exit exhaust system, taillights, and weatherstriping and seals. Features include a removable hardtop, a replacement black convertible soft top, retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a replacement with heat shields. The turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/75 BFGoodrich-branded tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The power steering pump and the brake calipers are said to have been replaced under current ownership along with the trailing arms. The cabin features two bucket seats reupholstered in black leather as well as color-coordinated replacement door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an aftermarket stereo, an analog clock, and lap belts. The door sills and the dashboard wiring harness were also replaced. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a telescopic column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 327ci L79 V8 is equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the engine was rebuilt under prior ownership. The carburetor is said to have been rebuilt at which time the engine was resealed, and the wiring harness, hoses, and clamps were replaced. The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci L79 V8 for use with a manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
