1967 Ford Fairlane

This 1967 Ford Fairlane GTA convertible is said to have been refurbished in Missouri in 2011 before being acquired by the seller in Canada four years later. The car is finished in metallic turquoise over a matching interior, and power is from a replacement 427ci side-oiler V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include a black convertible top, Cragar S/S wheels, a rack and pinion steering conversion, front disc brakes, dual Holley carburetors, a top boot, an AM radio, and an aftermarket stereo. This Fairlane GTA is offered with Ontario registration in the seller’s name. The car left the factory in Medium Aqua (W) metallic paint, and was reportedly refinished in 2011. Details include a black convertible top with a turquoise boot, stacked headlights, black side stripes between the wheel wells, and GTA and 427 badges. A paint chip on the right door is shown up close in the gallery below. Chrome 15″ Cragar S/S wheels are wrapped in 215/65 BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white-letter tires. Blemishes are noted on the wheels and bumpers. A rack and pinion steering conversion has been fitted, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The cabin came upholstered in Aqua (8K) vinyl from the factory, and features a matching dashboard and carpets. Amenities include front bucket seats, lap belts, a heater, a locking glovebox, an AM radio, and an aftermarket glovebox-mounted CD player linked to speakers on either side of the center console. A two-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring frames a 120-mph horizontal speedometer as well as a rectangular fuel gauge and clock. The five-digit odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The 427ci side-oiler V8 was installed under previous ownership and is fed by dual Holley four-barrel carburetors. The engine block casting number reads C5AE-H, indicating a 1965 build. An oil change was carried out in 2020. Tube headers feed a dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission.
