This 1967 GMC C1500 Custom long-bed pickup is finished in red and white with simulated patina over black and plaid and powered by a 4.3-liter LV3 V6 paired with a six-speed 6L80 automatic transmission and an Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential. Features include a frame notch, front and rear QA1 suspension with coilovers, CPP drop spindles, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, 20″ Detroit Steel Delray wheels, and Diamondback Classic yellow-line tires as well as a Holley accessory drive system, air conditioning, Dakota Digital RTX instrumentation, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo. The truck was acquired by the seller in Canada in 2018 and relocated to Ontario. Subsequent work at JH Restorations of Windsor, Ontario consisted of installing the engine and transmission, modifying the suspension, fabricating the exhaust system, and performing bodywork as well as re-wiring and repainting the truck. This C1500 long bed is offered in Canada with refurbishment photos, inner fenders, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name. This long bed pickup was finished in red and white with simulated patina under a matte clear coat during current ownership. Features include a painted GMC tailgate surround, LED headlamps and taillamps, a tailgate spoiler, custom vinyl “JH Restorations” logos on the doors and tailgate, and dual mirrors as well as a chrome grille, trim, and bumpers. The seller notes that the rockers, cab corners, front dog leg, and floor braces were repaired during the refurbishment. There is rust on the inner fenders and replacement inner fenders are included in the sale. Staggered 20″ Detroit Steel Wheel Delray’s wear chrome GMC center caps and are mounted with Diamondback Classic yellow-line tires measuring 275/40 up front and 315/35 out back. Modifications include QA1 front and rear suspension upgrades with tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, sway bars, a frame notch, and CPP drop spindles. The truck is equipped with power steering, hard stainless steel brake lines, a Wilwood master cylinder, and a hydroboost system. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood disc brakes with six-piston calipers up front and four-piston calipers out back. The cabin features a TMI bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with plaid inserts. Features include air conditioning, an American Autowire wiring harness, a Detroit Speed Selectra-Speed wiper kit, a vinyl floor covering, lap belts, a Retrosound Bluetooth stereo with a 1,200-watt Infinity amplifier, dual 10″ Kicker subwoofers, and upgraded speakers. The seller notes that the dash pad is cracked and sun-faded, and the door panel and review mirror finishes are peeling. The three-spoke steering wheel has a GMC horn button and frames a Dakota Digital RTX 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and electric clock as well as gauges for battery voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 20k kilometers (~12k miles) which are said to represent the mileage since completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown. The 4.3-liter LV3 V6 is said to have been sourced from a 2014 GMC Sierra and features direct fuel injection, a Camaro fuel pump module, a Holley mid-mount accessory drive with a Powermaster 140 amp alternator, an ATI damper with a billet crank pulley, and smoothed and ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds. An aluminum Dewitts LS swap radiator has been installed along with a custom-built shroud housing dual GC Cooling HP puller fans. Dyno results are shown in the gallery. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed 6L80 automatic transmission and an Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential. The 12-bolt rear axle was narrowed and fitted with 31-spline axles and 3.73:1 gears. The custom side-exit exhaust system is constructed from Vibrant Performance piping and features Magnaflow catalytic converters, an electric bypass valve, and a Hooker muffler. A custom 90-liter fuel tank is installed behind the rear axle.
