This 1967 Porsche 912 coupe was delivered new to New Jersey and later purchased by the seller’s uncle in Canada in the early-2000s. It was then acquired by the seller in 2014 and underwent a refurbishment in 2019 that included a repaint in Slate Grey and rebuilding the 1.6L flat-four and five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a charcoal cloth interior, 15″ Fuchs wheels, H4 headlights, fog lights, an aftermarket Magnaflow exhaust system, and a Blaupunkt radio. Work carried out in July 2021 reportedly consisted of replacing the carburetors and performing a valve adjustment. This 912 is now offered in Canada with service records, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, owner’s and repair manuals, and a transferable Ontario registration. The Karmann-built body was refinished in the factory Slate Grey (6601) in 2019 and fitted with new front fenders and trim. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, H4 headlights, fog lights, a driver’s side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, and grille badges. 15″ Fuchs wheels feature black centers and are wrapped in Pirelli P4 Four Season tires that show 2019 date codes. The suspension was overhauled in 2019 and Koni Classic shocks are fitted. Braking is provided four-wheel discs. Originally trimmed in red leatherette, the interior was reupholstered and fitted with charcoal cloth seats, matching carpets and door panels, and a contrasting black dashboard. Equipment includes brushed aluminum trim, a locking glove box, floor mats, and a Blaupunkt radio. A four-spoke steering wheel fronts green-script VDO instrumentation that consists of a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The replacement 1.6L flat-four was overhauled in 2019 and fitted with an aftermarket Magnaflow exhaust system. Work carried out in July 2021 consisted of replacing the carburetors and performing a valve adjustment. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch disc during the refurbishment. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery. A handful of photos from the refurbishment process are also available in the gallery. The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows factory colors, optional equipment and a production completion date of November 9, 1966. A copy of the Kardex report is also provided in the gallery below.
