This 1967 Porsche 911S coupe is a non-running project that is said to have been used as a street-legal track car over the past four decades. It is finished in yellow over black upholstery and equipped with a 2.0-liter flat-six paired with a replacement five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 15″ Fuchs-style wheels, Bosch H4 headlights, Bilstein rear shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, a custom exhaust system, an auxiliary oil cooler, a roll bar, a driver’s sport seat, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. The car was delivered new in Stuttgart, Germany, and was acquired by the late owner in 1977. This 911S is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner’s estate with a Kardex report, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, accessories, a logbook, and a clean Arizona title. Finished from the factory in Bahama Yellow (6605), the car was repainted under previous ownership with a white stripe on the hood and roof. Equipment includes Bosch H4 headlights, body-color bumpers with rubber moldings, bright rocker-panel trim, a left-side mirror, gold badging, pop-out rear quarter windows, and a Porsche Club of America grille badge. The front bumper is dented and the rear decklid grille is distorted. Additional blemishes can be seen in the gallery below. Fuchs-style 15″ alloy wheels are secured via extended studs and are mounted with Toyo Proxes R1R tires. The suspension features Bilstein rear shocks and a rear sway bar. The car is equipped with cross-drilled and vented rotors paired with stainless steel lines at all four corners. The cabin houses a driver’s sport seat and a low-back passenger seat upholstered in black vinyl and cloth. A bolt-in rear roll bar has been added, and additional equipment includes a wooden shift knob, a driver-side window net, a locking glove box, latch and link harnesses, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. Peeling is noted on the dashboard, and the rear side panels have been removed. An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that consists of a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline accompanied by a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. A Fuel Safe fuel cell has been added and is mounted on top of a stop sign in place of the factory fuel tank. Dual electric fuel pumps, a strut-tower brace, and a battery cut-off switch have also been installed. The non-running 2.0-liter flat-six features twin Weber carburetors and is said to have suffered two bent exhaust valves as a result of an over-rev from a stuck throttle linkage. Equipment includes an MSD ignition system, a custom exhaust system, and an aftermarket front-mount oil cooler. The heater has been disconnected, and the engine is said to turn freely by hand. A photo of the engine stamp is provided above, and a photo of the transaxle stamping is provided in the gallery below. A replacement five-speed manual transaxle is retained, and aftermarket axles have been added. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery. A copy of the Kardex report lists initial delivery information as well as the factory colors and powertrain serial numbers. A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is also provided in the gallery below. Porsche Club of America and Sports Car Club of America logbooks are included in the sale along with purchase paperwork and accessories. Filed under: 911, 911 s, long hood, longhood
