This 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 was modified for racing under prior ownership and is said to have been previously owned by noted dealer and collector Joe Marchetti. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2011 and has since been campaigned in various Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association races and other track events. Power is supplied by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four that is noted to have been overhauled prior to being installed in 2022, and shifting is via a five-speed manual transmission linked with a limited-slip differential. Finished in red with white #36 roundels, the car is equipped with dual Weber carburetors, an aluminum radiator, a side-exit exhaust system, an ATL fuel cell, and 14″ Panasport wheels. Inside, the stripped cockpit houses a Sparco racing seat with a RaceQuip multi-point harness as well as a roll bar, a quick-release steering wheel, and a SPA Technique fire suppression system. This GTV race car is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner on a bill of sale. The car is finished in red and features white #36 roundels on the front and rear bodywork as well as on both side doors. The door glass has been removed, and the rear quarter windows have been replaced with Lexan units. The bumpers were also removed, and further details include an external kill switch, headlight covers, hood pins, door-mounted side mirrors, front and rear tow hooks, and a side-exit exhaust system. The seller notes paintwork along the right-front fender following damage sustained during an on-track incident in 2015. Panasport 14″ wheels are mounted with 205/55 Nitto NT01 tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent double-wishbone setup with an anti-roll bar up front paired with a live axle, lower trailing arms, and a reaction trunnion out back. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners, and the front calipers and pads were replaced in 2022. The stripped cockpit houses a single Sparco bucket seat trimmed in black cloth and paired with a RaceQuip multi-point harness. A number of vintage racing event stickers adorn the roll bar, which also features a camera mount. A trunk-mounted ATL fuel cell, an Accusump oil accumulator, a SPA Technique fire suppression system, and Redline drilled aluminum pedals are further appointments. The split-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a quick-release hub and fronts a custom dash that houses an Autometer 11k-rpm tachometer as well as a trio of Stewart-Warner gauges monitoring oil pressure, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The car is not equipped with an odometer, and total mileage is unknown. The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was overhauled prior to being installed in August 2022. Equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, an aluminum radiator, an MSD ignition coil, and a remote oil filter. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car does not have a title or registration, as it is intended for track use only. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
