This 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge coupe was purchased new by the owner’s late spouse. It is finished in red over black vinyl and powered by a 400ci Ram Air III V8 mated to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a 3.55:1 Positraction rear end, staggered-diameter Rally II-style wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a Rochester four-barrel carburetor, a Ram Air hood, the Judge package, driving lights, a Hurst shifter, and a push-button radio. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale, and the seller reports that the fuel tank, pump, lines, and filter were also replaced. This GTO Judge is now offered on behalf of the owner with original purchase paperwork, manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, a Vintage Vehicle Services report, and Alberta registration. The car was finished from the factory in Carousel Red (72) and was reportedly repainted in the mid-1970s. The lower bodywork is finished in black and additional exterior details include side stripes, “The Judge” graphics, a body-colored Endura front bumper, driving lights, a Ram Air hood with an integrated tachometer, dual side mirrors, an “airfoil” rear wing, a chrome rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets. A blemish on the driver-side fender is noted and additional close-up images detailing badging, lighting, and trim are provided in the gallery below. The 14″ and 15″ Rally II-style wheels are mounted with Goodyear Polyglas G70-14 front tires and Pro Trac 60 rear tires. The car was factory-equipped with power steering and the Y96 Handling Package. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features black vinyl bucket seats, woodgrain trim, a center console, a Hurst T-handle shifter, a “The Judge” dash badge, three-point front seatbelts, and an AM radio. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an electric clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles. The car is equipped with a 400ci Ram Air III V8, and the cylinder heads were reportedly decked .030″ and given a five-angle valve job at some point in the past. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, and fuel filter. Areas of corrosion on the engine are detailed in the gallery below. The engine stamping is shown above, and additional photos showing other stampings and casting numbers are included in the gallery below. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie wide-ratio four-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 Positraction rear end. The aftermarket exhaust system terminates ahead of the rear axle, and corrosion is present on the underside. The original purchase paperwork, a Protect-O-Plate, and past registrations are included in the sale. As is a Vintage Vehicle Services report detailing colors, equipment, and production information. The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue them. It is being sold on its Alberta registration.
