This 1969 Porsche 911S coupe was converted to a race car under prior ownership and subsequently campaigned in SVRA and HSR events. Acquired by the current owner in 2013, the car is fitted with RSR-style bodywork and finished in metallic blue with white graphics. The replacement twin-plug 3.0L flat-six is equipped with PMO carburetors as well as twin MSD ignition boxes and coils and mated to a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The stripped interior features a roll cage along with a single Sparco racing seat, a Willans six-point harness, a JWest Engineering shifter, and AutoMeter instrumentation. Further equipment includes a TraqMate data acquisition system, a Phoenix fire-suppression system, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, 935-style front suspension, adjustable coilovers, monoball suspension bushings, later-model four-wheel disc brakes, and 16″ BBS modular wheels. This 911S race car is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Wisconsin on a bill of sale. The car was modified in the style of an RSR model by Dawe Motorsports of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, under prior ownership, according to the seller. The bumpers and fender flares have been replaced with fiberglass units, filler panels have been installed in place of the headlights and front indicators, and the body has been repainted in metallic blue with white Porsche Carrera graphics and #57 meatballs. Additional features include PIAA auxiliary lights as well as a cowl-mounted battery shut-off switch, a front tow point, a driver-side mirror, a plexiglass rear window, and a ducktail rear spoiler. The windshield wipers have been removed, and paint chipping is present throughout the bodywork. Staggered-width 16″ BBS modular wheels feature white-finished centers as well as bright lips and are mounted with Hoosier racing slicks measuring 225/50 up front and 275/45 out back. The chassis has reportedly been modified with a 935-style front suspension, adjustable coilovers, and monoball bushings. The braking system features a Wilwood proportioning valve as well as 930-sourced front calipers over slotted rotors and later-model four-piston rear calipers over cross-drilled rotors. The interior has been stripped and fitted with a white-finished roll cage as well as a single Sparco racing seat with a Willans six-point harness. Additional equipment includes a a JWest Engineering RennShift shifter, a Traqmate data acquisition system, a Phoenix fire-suppression system, and a wide-angle rearview mirror. The Sparco steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara and features a yellow centering stripe. The factory gauges have been replaced with AutoMeter instrumentation that includes a central tachometer accompanied by auxiliary readouts for oil pressure and temperature as well as various switches and warning lights. The car is not equipped with an odometer, and true mileage is unknown. The front trunk houses a Fuel Safe fuel cell with twin Holley fuel pumps as well as an hour meter that reads 450 hours. The replacement 3.0L flat-six was reportedly sourced from a 930 model and rebuilt by Klub Sport Racing of Riviera Beach, Florida. It features a twin-plug ignition system as well as PMO carburetors, twin MSD electronic ignition boxes and coils, a JB Racing distributor, and a blue engine shroud. The seller notes that the car was last raced in 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle, which is said to have been overhauled by CS Motorsports of Lannon, Wisconsin. The car is not titled or registered for road use and is being sold on a bill of sale. Filed under: long hood, longhood
