This 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham is believed to have been converted to an eight-passenger station wagon by ASC Custom Craft and is finished in deep blue metallic over medium blue leather with a blue vinyl half-top. Power is supplied by a 472ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and features include a roof rack, power sunroof, a third-row seat, power windows and locks, and an AM/FM radio. Recent work includes an air conditioning service and replacement of the front shocks and battery. This Fleetwood wagon is offered by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Texas title. Finished from the factory in Condor Blue Metallic (29), the body has been repainted under previous ownership and a replacement vinyl top was installed. The leading edge of the hood was repainted by the selling dealer, who notes rust bubbling on the lower door corners, as well as corrosion around the right rear quarter panel and imperfections on the driver-side rear passenger window. Brightwork includes dual mirrors, a roof rack, chrome bumpers, and chrome rocker panels. A broken section of the front grille is shown in the gallery. Steel 15″ wheels wear Cadillac-branded covers and 225/75 Ironman RB-12 whitewall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and drums in the rear. The front shocks were recently replaced. The cabin is trimmed in blue leather with a matching dash, door panels, carpets, headliner, and floor mats with embroidered-Cadillac crests. Amenities include an electric sunroof, power windows and locks, power-adjustable front seats, and an AM/FM stereo. The air conditioning was recently serviced and recharged with R134a refrigerant, and the seller notes that the driver’s seat belt retractor needs replacement. Folding footrests are present for second-row occupants and the rear-facing third row seat is pictured in the gallery. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal speedometer, a clock, and a five-digit odometer reading 73k miles. Actual mileage is unknown. The rear seats fold flush to create a flat cargo area as shown above. The side-hinged tailgate features a power window, and a notch in the rear bumper assists with entry and exit to the third row seating and cargo area. The 472ci V8 was rated from the factory at 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. The battery was recently replaced. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The factory self-leveling rear suspension has been replaced with aftermarket air shocks that can be manually inflated. Additional photos of the underside and dual exhaust system can be seen in the gallery. The body tag decodes to reveal the following information: 70 – 1970 model year 68169 – Fleetwood Brougham, four-door pillar sedan FWD – Fleetwood assembly plant TR 066S – Dark Blue leather interior, 60/40 split front seat 29J – Condor Blue Metallic paint, white roof top 04A – Built first week of April EXV – Tinted glass, dual comfort power front seats SM – Remote trunk release and power pull-down KIB – Automatic climate control, Options Group including AM/FM radio
