s a Ginger interior that is in very nice condition with factory am radio and clock that work as they should. Factory AC that needs a charge, but the compressor is good. Headliner, sail panels, seats, carpet, door panels, trim and glass are all in good condition. Also included in this package is a factory rear deck sport seat. s an aftermarket driver side seat rail extender that adds several inches to leg room. All gauges, lights, switches, wipers. and speedometer/odometer work as they should. Interior is highlighted with a new concourse correct wood grained rim blow steering wheel. The color and trim codes on this build is quite limited as shown in the port. This car pretty much checks all of the boxes for the 1970 1 tang.
y and paint are very nice condition. I consider the paint to be very nice driver quality. If you’re looking for urse correct grade standards, you had better keep searching. ight body lines, no rust no dents any where. All trim is nice and straight no pitting none missing. Comes with upgraded shaker, front nose and rear deck spoilers with window louvers. I believe spoilers are NOS. The Louvers look to be quality reproduction, are very nice condition. ar quarters and floor pans are not original to the car but nicely restored and recoated with sound deadener. er panels and torque boxes are solid. Car history shows that the car was built in e Ca. Sold new in fornia must have stayed in Ca. for about 24 years as near as i can tell from the limited paper history that is included. At some point It was fully restored, and motor must have been rebuilt prior to being purchased by its last long-term owner that apparently let it sit in a climate-controlled warehouse for 10 plus years before it went into an estate auction where tomotive in ginia purchased it. The sales rep watching over the listing on e y told me the car was not running when they first got it. They replaced the fuel tank and did some adjusting on the carb in order to get it listed on e y in Dec. 2021. At the time it showed 29908 miles and today it shows 30550 miles on the odometer. I believe the odometer turned over once and it is likely 130,550k miles today. The to sales rep told me the carb was still not completely right after I purchased it; that it would need some more help. It did in fact need adjusted after replacing the 8 fouled spark plugs twice. ned out the ke ifold gasket was cracked causing oil to migrate into the fuel. Problem solved, replaced IM gasket as well as adjusted timing and carb. Today it runs and sounds terrific. I have no paper trail proof the motor was rebuilt at any time before during or after the body restore. wever, good cylinder compression on all 8 cylinders, good oil pressure at 85 psi, does not blow blue or black smoke out tail pipes or use oil. The added performance cam and engine paint lead me to believe it pretty much had to of been rebuilt. I tied to find n stamp on back of block and unable to verify whether or not it is the factory block. Personally, I do not care either way because it has M code heads with the 351 land motor with an lbrock IM. There is no paper trail on the paint, body, and interior work either, but it has clearly been restored. I have added 650 miles and lots of time and dollars to improve upon this 1 to bring it to this point.
