This 1970 Porsche 911T coupe is said to have been converted to a race car by Klub Sport Racing of Riviera Beach, Florida around 25 years ago and was acquired by the current owner approximately one year ago. The car is finished in Pastel Blue and features rear fender flares and a fiberglass decklid over a stripped interior fitted with a roll cage with door bars and an OMP racing seat. Power is supplied by a 2.0L flat-six that was rebuilt in 2014 and is fitted with twin-plug cylinder heads, dual PMO carburetors, JE forged pistons, a polished crankshaft, and CP-Carrillo rods. Additional equipment includes a 901 five-speed manual transaxle, Bilstein shocks, ventilated front disc brakes, a fire suppression system, and Minilite wheels. The car was serviced before being raced in the 2021 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, and work is said to have consisted of tuning the carburetors and replacing the fuel cell, brake pads, spark plugs, and fan belt. This 911 race car is now offered on dealership consignment in Florida with a receipt from the engine build and a bill of sale. Finished from the factory in Pastel Blue (2020), the car is said to have been repainted several times and features flared rear wheel arches, modified front and rear bumpers, and a fiberglass decklid. The passenger-side front turn signal lens has been replaced with wire mesh, and exterior features include black Porsche stripes on the lower body panels, roundels on the hood and doors, and various other decals, along with front hood latches, rear window straps, electrical cut-off switches, and a rear tow hook. The seller notes evidence of prior repairs on the front-left corner and rear of the car. Silver 15” Minilite wheels are mounted with 23×7.5” Hoosier T.D. tires. According to the seller, the car is equipped with Bilstein shocks, ventilated front disc brakes, a torsion bar, adjustable sway bars, a bump steer kit, and polyurethane bushings. Work performed prior to the current owner’s acquisition is said to include a brake fluid flush, replacement of the brake pads, and repacked axles. The cockpit features a single OMP racing seat with a red OMP five-point racing harness as well as a full roll cage with door bars. The rear compartment has been modified to allow for easier access to the engine and transaxle, and additional modifications include a fire-suppression system, a modified shifter, window nets, a control switch panel, and metal pedal pads. A Momo Prototipo steering wheel fronts an Autometer 11k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 31k miles, though total mileage is unknown. The 2.0L flat-six has an aluminum case and was built by 901 Shop in Stuart, Florida in May 2014 and has been modified with twin-plug cylinder heads, a polished crankshaft, JE forged pistons with a 10.5:1 compression ratio, CP-Carrillo rods, MSD ignition, and dual 46mm PMO carburetors with Pipercross air filters. The spark plugs, fan belt, and fuel cell are said to have been replaced, the carburetors were adjusted, and an oil change was performed prior to the 2021 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, which the car is said to have attended three times in addition to two Porsche Rennsport Reunions. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 901 five-speed manual transaxle with a reverse and first gear lockout. Rust-through is noted around the pedal box, and additional underside images are presented in the gallery, along with photos of the wheel wells, brakes, rockers, and exhaust components.
