This 1971 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior is said to have been delivered new in Italy and relocated to the Netherlands in the 1980s, where it was acquired by the current owner as a project in 2015. The car was subsequently refurbished and modified in the style of a 2000 GTAm race car by stripping the body, fitting wheel arch flares, and refinishing the exterior in maroon. A 2.0-liter inline-four and a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission were also installed, while the suspension, brakes, and electrical system were overhauled. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, twin Weber carburetors, 15″ BBS wheels, Bilstein and Koni shocks, a roll cage, an Alfaholics exhaust system, Lexan side windows, Recaro racing seats, and Willans harnesses. This modified 105 coupe is now offered in the Netherlands by the seller on behalf of the current owner with refurbishment photos, spare parts, dynamometer results, and German registration. The seller states that various body panels were replaced, a composite hood, deck lid, and doors were installed, and chassis reinforcements were installed prior to an exterior repaint in Rosso Amaranto (AR509). The bumpers have been removed, the side windows have been replaced with Lexan sliding units, and wheel arch flares secured via rivets have been added. Additional work involved shaving the fuel-filler door and installing an Alfaholics 90-liter fuel tank with a Monza-style filler cap in the trunk. Further exterior details include quadruple Carello headlights, tow loops, hood and decklid pins, GTA-style door handles, an external kill switch, and a single polished exhaust tip. Gold-finished 15″ BBS magnesium wheels with polished lips were reportedly refinished prior to being mounted with 205/50 Toyo Proxes R888 tires. The suspension was overhauled and fitted with a thicker sway bar and Bilstein shocks up front, Koni shocks out back, and Eibach springs at all four corners. A rebuilt CNC steering box has been installed, and stopping power is provided by Brembo calipers over ventilated rotors. The interior was stripped and an FIA-approved East-Racing Motorsport chromoly steel roll cage was installed prior to a reported repaint in Bianco Spino (AR101). A pair of Recaro Pole Position racing seats trimmed in black cloth and equipped with Willans multi-point harnesses have been added. The electrical system was overhauled as part of the build, and a 1750-style dashboard housing vehicle control switches was installed. Additional appointments include a fire extinguisher, a kill switch, lightweight door panels, and OMP drilled pedals. The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and frames a Jaeger 220-km/h speedometer and a 8k-rpm tachometer. A clock and auxiliary gauges indicating fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil temperature are housed centrally in the dashboard, while a pair of Heuer stopwatches are mounted below the shifter. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 96k kilometers (~60k miles), and according to the seller, approximately 3k kilometers have been driven since the refurbishment. The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was reportedly rebuilt prior to being installed during the refurbishment. Twin Weber 45DCOE carburetors, a Facet electric fuel pump, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan have been installed. Additional components are said to include: 84mm forged pistons CP-Carrillo connecting rods Cat Cams performance camshafts Lightened & balanced crankshaft 46mm intake valves 40mm exhaust valves Custom-fabricated Venturi intake manifold 123ignition Bluetooth-programmable distributor High-torque starter Lightweight alternator Aluminum oil cooler An April 2023 dynamometer test registered an approximate maximum power output of 183 horsepower and is viewable in the gallery below. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt with an OS Giken close-ratio gear set. The rear axle was reportedly overhauled and is equipped with 4.30:1 gearing and a ZF limited-slip differential. Additional equipment is said to include a lightened flywheel, a Tilton 184mm clutch disc, and an Alfaholics stainless steel exhaust system. A collection of photos taken during the refurbishment are viewable in the gallery below. Various spare parts, including a pair of Talbot Berlin mirrors, will accompany the sale. The car does not have a title as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration. The seller states that the car’s modifications have been approved by TÜV.
