This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette coupe spent time in Pennsylvania and Florida before coming to Canada in 2008. The car has been refinished in white over black, and its 350ci LT-1 V8 is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 15″ Rally wheels, exhaust headers, an aluminum radiator, power-assisted brakes and steering, removable T-top roof panels, power windows, and an AM/FM radio. The engine was rebuilt, the clutch replaced, and Bilstein shocks added in 2013. This C3 coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 and is now offered in Canada with a binder of records, a facsimile Order Copy, spare parts, and Ontario registration. The car was delivered new in War Bonnet Yellow and has been refinished in white. Features include chrome front and rear bumpers, removable T-top roof panels, LT-1 pinstriping on the hood, and pop-up headlights. Silver 15″ rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and hubcaps, and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted brakes and steering, and Bilstein shocks were installed in 2013. The interior was trimmed in black vinyl from the factory. Amenities include an AM/FM radio as well as power windows. Wear is shown on the polished shifter, which features a T-handle reverse lockout. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles. A clock and auxiliary gauges are located in the center stack. The 350ci V8 was rebuilt by Grand Sport Motors of Ontario, Canada in 2013, at which time an aluminum radiator was also installed. The engine also features an MSD distributor and a set of four-into-one exhaust headers. Stock exhaust manifolds are included in the sale. The engine code suffix reads CGZ, which indicates a 330-horsepower 350ci V8 for a 1971 LT-1 model. The engine pad has been refinished, and a double-struck engine number that matches the final six digits of the car’s serial number is pictured in the gallery below. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced in 2013, and a new transmission mount is said to have been fitted in 2020. Additional refurbishment photos are provided in the gallery. Filed under: c3
