This 1971 Fiat 500F is an Italian-market example that was refurbished and modified in the style of a Jolly model after its acquisition by the selling dealer in 2021. The car was fitted with replacement body panels before it was repainted blue, and a wicker interior and Jolly-style surrey top were installed. The replacement 650cc inline-twin and four-speed manual transaxle were rebuilt during the refurbishment according to the selling dealer, and the electrical system, suspension, and four-wheel drum brakes were overhauled. Additional equipment includes an Abarth-branded finned aluminum oil pan, 12” wheels, Atlas whitewall tire trim, chrome bumpers, a removable storage basket, and side-mounted grab rails. This Fiat 500 Jolly conversion is now offered in Italy with photos taken during the refurbishment and Italian registration documents. The body was modified under current ownership in the style of a Jolly model, and the front end, hood, front fenders, inner wheel arches, floorboards, sills, quarter panels, taillight sections, engine cover, and structural components were replaced. The seller states that the car was then primed, sealed, block sanded, and repainted in its current shade of blue, and a tan and white surrey top with tan fringe was installed along with a tinted windshield, replacement weather seals, tubular chrome trim, and replacement bumpers, brightwork, and badging. Beige-finished 12” wheels wear polished hubcaps, and the tires are fitted with Atlas whitewall inserts. The suspension and four-wheel drum brakes were overhauled during the build according to the seller. The interior features wicker front bucket seats, a matching rear bench, and a removable storage box along with a body-color dashboard panel, a black center console, and brown carpeting. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a Veglia Borletti 120-km/h speedometer that indicates suggested shift points. The five-digit odometer shows 9 kilometers (~6 miles), and total mileage is unknown. The replacement 650cc inline-twin and four-speed manual transaxle were reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment, and the electrical wiring was replaced. An Abarth-branded finned aluminum oil pan has been fitted, and the upper portions of the engine were painted to match the exterior. The transaxle is equipped with synchromesh gears, according to the seller. Photos taken at various stages during the refurbishment are presented in the gallery.
