This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme is one of 66 convertible examples produced with the 455ci V8 paired with an M20 four-speed manual transmission for the model year. Finished in blue over white vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with a white soft top, 15″ Super Stock II-style wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a stainless-steel exhaust system, air conditioning, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The car was refurbished under prior ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2019. This Cutlass Supreme convertible is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with the manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, correspondence from Oldsmobile, refurbishment receipts, and a clean Wisconsin title. Finished from the factory in Nordic Blue (24) the car was repainted in the current shade of blue during the aforementioned refurbishment circa 2003, at which time the rear quarter panels were replaced and the rear bumper was refinished. The front bumper was re-chromed in January 2020, and additional exterior details include a power-operated white soft top, bodyside pinstripes, body-color mirror assemblies, polished rocker panel moldings, and dual exhaust outlets. The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl upholstery complimented by faux woodgrain trim that accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Cutlass-branded floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include air conditioning, retractible front lap belts, a Hurst shifter, a locking glove compartment, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock along with a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 91k miles, approximately 600 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
