This 1972 Porsche 911T coupe is a US-market example that is powered by a 2.4-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was repainted black in the 1990s and spent time in Florida before being imported to Canada in the late 2010s. Equipment includes Bosch mechanical fuel injection, Fuchs-style 15” wheels, Koni shocks, Euro-style headlights, a sunroof, Recaro front sport seats, power windows, and a push-button AM/FM stereo. Service following the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023 included bleeding the brakes and replacing the left CV joint boots along with the sunroof motor, cables, and seals. This 911T is now offered in Canada with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and Quebec registration. The car left the factory finished in Gold Metallic (88) and was repainted black under prior ownership. Exterior details include Bosch Euro-style headlights, a left mirror, a right-side external oil filler, 911S-style bumper and side trim, rear bumperettes, and a single exhaust outlet with a polished finisher. Paint blemishes and touched-up areas around the car are shown up close in the gallery. Fuchs-style 15” wheels are mounted with 205/55 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires that show date codes from 2017 and 2018. The car is equipped with Koni shocks and disc brakes at all four corners. The front ball joints and suspension bushings were replaced in 2018, and the left CV joint boots were replaced in May 2023. Curb marks and blemishes are visible on the wheels. The cabin features Recaro front sport seats trimmed in black vinyl with Pepita cloth inserts accompanied by black rear jump seats, door panels, and carpets. Additional appointments include a push-button AM/FM stereo, power windows, and a power-operated sunroof, for which the motor, switch, cables, and seals were replaced in May 2023. Air conditioning outlets and controls are located below the dash, though the compressor has been removed and the system is inoperative. Discoloration and tears in the headliner can be viewed in the gallery. The four-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer flanked by a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The 2.4-liter flat-six is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, and the system is said to have been overhauled in 2016. A factory-style exhaust system was installed in May 2023, and the service invoice notes oil seepage from a rear crankshaft seal. The engine case stamping is shown above, and additional identification numbers can be viewed in the gallery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors, equipment, and identification numbers. Manufacturer’s literature will accompany the car along with service records dating back to 1996.
