This 1973 Alpine A110 1600S is said to have been sold new in Naples, Italy, and was moved to Avellino by its second owner in 1976. It reportedly remained with his family and underwent a refurbishment between 2017 and 2020 before it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2021. The fiberglass bodywork is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a rear-mounted 1.6L inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include dual Weber 45 DCOE carburetors, adjustable Koni shocks, front fog lamps, 13″ alloy wheels, a roll bar, and a MOMO steering wheel. This A110 1600S is now offered in Perugia, Italy, with Italian registration.  The Giovanni Michelotti-designed A110 featured fiberglass bodywork mounted to a steel backbone chassis and was produced from 1962 to 1977. This example is said to have been repainted in its factory metallic blue during the 2010s refurbishment and features chrome bumpers with rubber inserts, rear quarter intakes, Alpine-Renault quarter panel decals, a driver-side mirror, plexiglass headlight covers, and fog lights. The three-lug alloy wheels are mounted with 165HR13 Michelin XAS tires. Koni adjustable shocks were fitted under previous ownership, and stopping power is provided by discs at all four corners. The cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in black leatherette along with a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a patterned aluminum dash insert, a roll bar, and a rear parcel shelf with vinyl tie-down straps. The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset water temperature gauge as well as a 240-km/h speedometer with an inset fuel gauge, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 35k kilometers (~22k miles), approximately 500 kilometers of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown. The 1.6-liter Type 807-25 inline-four features dual Weber 45 DCOE carburetors and is said to have been rebuilt during the 2010s refurbishment. An oil and filter change was performed under the selling dealer’s ownership. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle.
