This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible was first delivered to Dee Thomason Ford in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and it was ordered in Gold Glow with a power-operated white soft top and Ginger knit upholstery. It was also specified with a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a C-6 Select Shift automatic transmission, the Instrumentation and Convenience groups, power steering, a tilt wheel, a factory AM stereo with an 8-track player, intermittent wipers, color-keyed racing mirrors, power windows, power-assisted brakes, and white-letter tires. Previously owned by a friend of the selling dealer from 2015 until 2024, the car is said to have accrued the 22k miles shown on the West Coast with just two owners and was restored in 2010 by a Mustang specialist to Mustang Club of America (MCA) Division 1 Thoroughbred specifications. This Mustang is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a top boot, and a clean Wisconsin title. The car was ordered in Gold Glow (6F) with a power-operated white soft top and color-keyed racing mirrors. The car was restored in 2012 by a Mustang specialist to Mustang Club of America (MCA) Division 1 Thoroughbred specifications. Slotted 14″ alloy wheels have been added. The car is also equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Ginger knit vinyl. The car was ordered with the Instrumentation and Convenience groups, a tilt wheel, a factory AM stereo with an 8-track player, intermittent wipers, and power windows. The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. The H-code 351ci Cleveland V8 was factory rated at 177 horsepower. Service in July 2024 included replacing the battery, an oil change, and a tune-up. The engine block stamping is shown above.
