This 1974 Datsun 260Z was purchased by the seller in 2019, and has since undergone a custom build featuring the installation of a turbocharged 2.0-liter F20C inline-four and a six-speed manual transmission sourced from a Honda S2000. Additional modifications include a NISMO limited-slip differential, Wilwood four-wheel disc-brakes, Techno Toy Tuning coilover suspension components, Koni shocks, 16″ Watanabe wheels, a Nardi steering wheel, carbon-fiber bucket seats, Speedhut and AEM gauges, Sabelt safety harnesses, and AEM engine management components. Driven approximately 2k miles since completion of the build, this modified 260Z is now offered in Canada with dynometer test results, build records, and an Ontario registration document in the seller’s name. The body was repainted in the current shade of black under previous ownership according to the seller. The front and rear bumpers have been removed, and additional alterations include a front spoiler, a Skillard rear diffuser and adjustable rear spoiler, silver roundels on each door, and Japanese-market grille badging treatments. Per the seller, XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film has been added to the body. Watanabe 16″ multi-spoke wheels are wrapped in staggered-width Toyo Proxes R1R tires. The car is equipped with Wilwood calipers and disc brakes at all four corners, and suspension modifications sourced from Techno Toy Tuning include a steering coupler and roll center adjuster, front and rear coilovers with Koni dampers, and front and rear adjustable control arms along with solid pillow mounts, inner and outer tie rods, front and rear sway bars. The cabin features Bride fixed-back bucket seats with carbon-fiber shells upholstered in black and accompanied by Sabelt harnesses. Further additions include a rear lateral brace, a Renegade Motorsports-sourced S2000 short shifter, an Alpine head unit, and glovebox-mounted AEM gauges monitoring boost and air-fuel ratios. The Nardi steering wheel fronts white–dial Speedhut gauges that include a 140-mph speedometer with an inset fuel-level gauge, a tachometer, and a trio of auxiliary gauges in the center of the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates that approximately 2k miles have been driven since completion of the build. True mileage is unknown. A 2021 dynamometer test graph shows peak output of 595 horsepower and 353 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its Ontario registration.
