1975 Ferrari 308 GT4

This 1975 Ferrari 308 GT4 is said to have been imported from the US to Europe before being purchased by the selling dealer as an unfinished project from its previous owner in 2017. Subsequent rally-style modifications included a repaint in green and white Alitalia-style livery as well as installation of a custom dash, racing seats, lightweight door panels, auxiliary lighting, plexiglass windows, new wheels, and fiberglass bumpers. Power is from a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V8 that was reportedly serviced with replacement piston rings, seals, and exhaust valves prior to installation in 2021, and is mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. This 308 GT4 is offered in Belgium with Belgian registration documents. The car was repainted in green and white Alitalia-style livery in homage to that used on 1975 Lancia Stratos rally cars, reportedly following bodywork to address rust issues. Modifications include plexiglass side and rear windows, four hood-mounted driving lights, fiberglass bumpers, and mud flaps with rear chain hangers. New alloy wheels wear 185/60-14 Fedima Club Sport F5 Rally tires all around, and a matching spare is mounted to the roof. The four-wheel disc brake calipers were rebuilt according to the selling dealer, and braided stainless steel hoses were fitted. The cockpit was stripped of its carpet and climate control system prior to installation of OMP racing seats with four-point harnesses. Additional features include lightweight replacement door panels, a Sparco fire extinguisher, punched aluminum footrests, an extended shift lever, and an electrical kill switch. An OMP steering wheel is mounted ahead of a replacement racing-style dashboard housing redistributed factory gauges as well as two rows of ceramic fuses and a Brantz rally timer. The odometer shows 59k kilometers (~39k miles), approximately 1k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The all-aluminum 3.0-liter DOHC V8 is said to have been fitted with new piston rings, seals, and exhaust valves under current ownership. The water pump, alternator, spark plugs and wires, hoses, and filters were also replaced according to the selling dealer. Two Bosch ignition coils and a Pertronix electronic ignition module were fitted in summer 2021. Power is routed through a five-speed manual transaxle.
