This 1975 Porsche 911 was the 29th US-spec Carrera 2.7 built for the model year and reportedly was acquired by the previous owner in the mid-1990s without its powertrain. The car was subsequently disassembled, stripped, and modified with widened steel bodywork and 964-style fiberglass bumpers as well as a GT2-style wing. The bodywork was then refinished in metallic red and a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was sourced from a 930 Turbo along with a five-speed manual transaxle. The previous owner drove the car from Quebec, Canada to participate in One Lap of America events for several years, and in 2014 the seller acquired the car and has since used it in PCA HPDE events. Under the seller’s ownership the K27 turbocharger has been rebuilt and an aftermarket exhaust system, bolt-in roll bar, Recaro seats, WEVO shifter, Fikse wheels, and WEVO monoball bushings have been added. This turbocharged 911 track car is now offered with build photos, dynamometer paperwork, and transferable Ontario registration. The car reportedly started life as a narrow-body US-market Carrera 2.7 finished in India Red. In the 1990s the previous owner stripped the car to bare metal, added widened steel Turbo-style bodywork, fiberglass 964-style bumpers, and a GT2-style decklid wing. The body was then refinished in metallic red and now features black headlight surrounds. The seller states that one of the doors and front fenders were replaced after the previous owner brushed a tire wall on track. The seller also notes stone chips and rubber marks around car from track days and states that the fiberglass side skirts no longer fit well. Scuffs are present on the underside of the bumper covers, as shown in the photo gallery below. Silver Fikse 18″ forged wheels are mounted with 255/35 front and 315/30 rear Toyo Proxes R888 tires. The front shocks have been replaced and WEVO spherical monoball bushings have been added under current ownership. The cabin has been stripped and features Recaro Pole Position seats, Schroth six-point harnesses, a built-in roll bar, a WEVO shifter, aluminum footrests, and homemade carbon-fiber door panels with red door pulls. The seller notes that the dashboard has been re-covered and shows imperfections. The car lacks climate control and an audio system. A Momo steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a rotated 7k-rpm tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, a boost-pressure gauge, and combination gauges. The odometer shows just over 154k kilometers (~96k miles), approximately 18k kilometers of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown. The 3.3-liter flat-six is said to have been sourced from a 1989 930 Turbo and retains its CIS fuel-injection system. The engine reportedly has been modified with the following components: K27 turbocharger rebuilt by Evergreen Turbo Company 964 camshafts and lifters Custom-built intercooler RarlyL8 Motorsports exhaust headers and Hooligan muffler Lightweight flywheel and Kevlar clutch WEVO powertrain mounts Dynamometer results from 2018 show that the car produced 354 horsepower and 334 lb-ft of torque. A video of the car on the chassis dynamometer can be viewed here. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a late-1980s five-speed 915 manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below, and a video of the underside is available here. A number of photos showing the car before and during the 1990s rebuild are provided in the gallery below. The previous owner reportedly drove this car from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to participate in the One Lap of America event multiple times and won his class from 1998 to 2001. The seller has used the car at Porsche Club of America driver-education events for five years and states that the car is in need of replacement track tires and harnesses. A walk-around video is provided above, and in-car driving footage is below. An interior tour is shown here, and additional videos can be seen on the seller’s YouTube channel.
