This 1975 Porsche 914 is finished in green over tan vinyl and is powered by a Netgain HyPer 9HV electric motor and five Tesla Model S battery modules paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was delivered new to Porsche-Audi North of Dublin, Ohio, is said to have undergone a refurbishment in 1992 before being acquired by the owner in 2020 and converted to electric power. Features include a removable roof panel, a front spoiler, LED exterior lighting, 930 axles, 15″ Mahle wheels, an electric cabin heater, a USB charging jack, and a Pioneer stereo. The clutch and 12v battery were replaced as part of the EV conversion, and recent service is said to have included replacing the shocks and brakes, as well as refurbishing the gauges. The 914 EV is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with partial service records and a clean Virginia title in the owner’s name. The car left the factory finished in Zambezi Green (L64K) and is said to have been repainted in 1992. Features include LED exterior lighting, a J1772 charging port mounted on the engine lid, a black removable roof panel, retractable headlights, integrated front driving lights, impact bumpers, a black front spoiler, Porsche-branded side stripes, and a rear heckblende reflector. Paint bubbles and other blemishes in the finish are shown up close in the gallery. Silver 15″ Mahle wheels wear Bridgestone tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the car is equipped with a regenerative braking system. Recent service is said to have included replacement of the Boge shocks, master cylinder, brake rotors and pads, rear brake calipers, wheel bearings, tie rods, and parking brake cables. The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats that were reportedly reupholstered in tan vinyl under previous ownership and are joined by a matching back pad and carpets. Amenities include an electric cabin heater, a Pioneer stereo with JVC speakers, a USB charging jack, and embroidered floor mats. Recent service is said to include replacement of the shift linkage and pedal cluster bushings. The four-spoke steering wheel wears a leather cover and frames a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. A clock and auxiliary gauges for battery charge and voltage are mounted in the center console. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 600 of which have been added under current ownership. The gauge cluster was refurbished in 2020 and the odometer, which had rolled over, was reset to 0 miles. Total mileage is unknown. The Netgain HyPer 9HV electric motor is powered by five Tesla Model S battery modules and was reportedly installed in 2020. A battery cooling system was installed along with a motor controller and a replacement 12v battery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a type 901 five-speed manual transaxle. As part of the EV conversion, the drivetrain was updated with 930 axles and a replacement flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and input shaft bearing. The floor pans were patched and undercoated in 1992. The title shows an odometer reading of 109,006 miles.
