1976 Cadillac Series 75/Fleetwood

This 1976 Cadillac Castilian station wagon is finished in metallic brown over tan cloth upholstery and powered by a 500ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wheels, automatic climate control, an electrically operated sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, power-assisted steering and brakes, cruise control, rear footrests, power windows and locks, and a cassette stereo. This Cadillac Castilian car was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022 and is now offered in California with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Illinois title. Featuring a Gene Winfield design, the Cadillac Castilian conversion was based on a Fleetwood Brougham, and conversions were carried out by Traditional Coach Works, Ltd. out of Chatsworth, California. Production estimates are that approximately 50 were built between 1975 and 1976. This example is finished in metallic brown and features an electrically operated sunroof, chrome bumpers and trim, rear fender skirts, a brushed aluminum C pillar, and an air diverter above the tailgate. Steel 15″ wheels wear body-color covers bearing the Cadillac crest and are mounted with 235/75 Douglas Xtra-Trac A/W rear and Matrix Multi-Mil front tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs up front and drums out back. A space-saver spare is fitted under the cargo floor. The power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in tan cloth and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Woodgrain trim accents the door panels and dashboard, and amenities include folding center armrests, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a cassette stereo. A dash cover sits atop the dash, which the seller reports is cracked. A three-spoke steering wheel with woodgrain accents fronts a horizontally-sweeping 100-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The 500ci V8 was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
