1977 Porsche 911 1974-1977

This 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera is one of 1,473 3.0-liter-powered coupes built for the model year and was first registered in Germany. The car was then imported to Norway in 1997 and spent time in Sweden before returning to Norway in 2017 and undergoing a mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Work consisted of repairing the body and a repaint in the factory Minerva Blue Metallic, a re-trim of the sport seats in black leather, and a rebuild of the numbers-matching 3.0L flat-six and the five-speed manual transaxle. Additional work included refinishing the 15″ Fuchs wheels, overhauling the brakes and suspension, and replacing the lighting, wiring, and trim. Acquired by the current owner in 2019, this 911 Carrera 3.0 is now offered on dealer consignment in Oslo, Norway, with refurbishment records and photos, a tool kit, owner’s manuals, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and Norwegian registration. Beginning in 2019, the car was disassembled, rust repairs were performed, and replacement panels were fitted before it was repainted in the factory color of Minerva Blue Metallic. The headlights, taillights, fog lights, trim, and badging were renewed or replaced as necessary, and additional equipment includes headlight washers, a sunroof, and RoW rear bumperettes. Fuchs 15″ alloy wheels were finished in black with silver lips during the refurbishment and mounted with 185/70 front and 215/60 rear Pirelli P6000 tires. The suspension was overhauled and features Bilstein shocks and a rear anti-sway bar. The braking system was also refurbished with replacement rotors, pads, lines, and rebuilt calipers. The sport front seats were reupholstered in 2017 in black leather, which extends to the rear seats, door panels, and dashboard. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and amenities include a heater/defroster, power windows, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 250-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 185k kilometers (~115k miles), 1k of which were added during current ownership. The 3.0-liter flat-six shares its die-cast aluminum housing with the contemporary Turbo Carrera and was rebuilt during the refurbishment. An aftermarket Dansk rear muffler has been added. Engine block stamping ∗6671320∗ matches that shown on the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle that was also overhauled during the refurbishment. Additional underside photos are viewable in the gallery below.
