This 1980 Porsche 911SC was acquired two years ago by the seller, who subsequently oversaw installation of widened steel fenders, a backdated-style hood, a louvered deck lid, and aftermarket bumpers. The body was then refinished in olive green over a refreshed black interior, and the car’s 3.0-liter flat-six and five-speed manual gearbox reportedly were rebuilt. Additional modifications include a Weber carburetor conversion, a lightweight flywheel, Fuchs-style wheels, 964 front brakes, aftermarket coilovers, RS-style door panels, and a Momo Prototipo steering wheel. Approximately 200 miles have been added since completion of the build in May 2020. This modified 911 is now offered in Canada with refurbishment photos, partial records from 1986 onward, and transferable Quebec registration. The glass and engine were removed before the body was refinished in an olive green with flat-black side stripes and rear Porsche script. The car has been backdated and modified with a long hood, widened steel fenders, aftermarket bumpers, R-style taillights, a louvered deck lid, and Lexan side and rear windows. Work was completed by the seller’s shop, and each side of the car is shown in the photo gallery below. Bronze-finished Fuchs-style 16″ wheels measure 8″ wide up front and 9″ wide at the rear. The wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires, and the front brakes were sourced from a 1991 964 911. The suspension has also been modified with adjustable coilovers. The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats with black upholstery. The doors have RS-style panels with red door pulls, and the carpeting and headliner have been replaced. The seller notes that there is no air conditioning, no heater, no radio, and no rear seats. A Momo Prototipo steering wheel sits ahead of factory VDO instrumentation that includes a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and combination gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 200 of which reportedly have been added since completion of the build. The 3.0-liter flat-six is said to have been rebuilt in early 2020 by Rive Sud Euro in Boucherville, Quebec, and Weber carburetors have replaced the factory mechanical fuel injection system. Additional modifications include an aftermarket camshaft, MSD ignition, an M&K exhaust, and a lightweight flywheel. The seller states that other records date back to 1986. The five-speed manual gearbox reportedly was rebuilt by European Motorwerk of Montreal, Quebec in early 2020 and works through a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery. A walk-around video is provided below along with a clip of the engine running and revving.
