This 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 was acquired by the seller in Venezuela and received renovation work in Colombia before being imported to the United States in 2024. The truck was repainted in brown with a white roof, and the interior was upholstered in brown vinyl with matching carpets throughout. The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine was serviced (valve adjustment, engine timing, distributor timing calibration, amperage, engine compression, spark plug changes, total electrical system rewiring, suspension system adjustment, 4X4 traction system inspection, and general mechanical review).

It’s equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, factory original brakes with band and cylinder maintenance, factory original steering, 15” steel rims with new unigrip road force M/T 32X11.5 R15LT tires, three-point seatbelts, new air conditioning with sealed 508 compressor, universal four-vent evaporator, original vehicle button radio with independent Bluetooth wireless system, and a Pioneer radio with built-in Bluetooth in AUX category. It also includes a complete roadside kit (2-ton jack, ABC extinguisher, folding lug wrench, signaling triangles, 2 wheel chocks), new aluminum radiator, four Monroe shock absorbers for the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ and one horizontal gas steering damper, new 750 amp Willard Extrema titanium battery, tow hitch with trailer connector, new high-performance spark plug cables for better synchronization, carburetor with new interior kit, and all new filters and hoses. The truck was fully restored and painted with high-quality, high-solid paint for better future protection against environmental conditions and temperature changes. Exterior details include a steel front bumper, front turn signals mounted on the fenders, and a fold-down tailgate with original model-specific locks, steel cables, and carabiners, with water drainage holes in the floor with plastic plugs.

The 15” steel wheels have new six-lug nuts and are mounted with unigrip road force M/T 32X11.5 R15LT tires manufactured in week 50 of 2023, with a warranty until December 2028, and a unigrip road force M/T 31X10.5 R15LT spare tire. All front and rear bushings and the suspension were changed, with manual lock (handbrake), alignment, and balancing performed on all rims, including the spare.

The interior metal surfaces were painted to match the exterior, the dashboard pads, and door panels were reupholstered in brown vinyl. Three-point seatbelt system, air conditioning, and a button radio with an independent Bluetooth wireless system, alongside a Pioneer radio with built-in Bluetooth in AUX category, stereo speakers in the doors with separate bass and treble for better sound resolution.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160 km/h speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 192,000 miles.

The calibrated 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine is equipped with a new aluminum radiator, high-performance cables, carburetor, alternator, water tanks, temperature and oil knobs, horns, power steering pump, clutch—all new. All fluids for the engine, gearbox, transmissions, and coolants have been renewed.

Power is directed to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The frame was repainted during the renovation, along with the entire chassis, bridges, springs, transmissions, bells, new exhaust system, and stainless steel terminal.
