1984 BMW Alpina

This 1984 Alpina C1 2.3 is one of approximately 35 examples produced between 1984 and 1986 based on BMW’s E30 platform, and it is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission. The car was delivered new to Germany and spent time in Japan before being acquired by the selling dealer in the Netherlands in 2020. Finished in Polaris Metallic over a black interior with blue and green Alpina stripes, the car is equipped with 16″ alloy wheels, ventilated four-wheel disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, Alpina graphics, fog lights, a sunroof, and an aftermarket CD stereo. Now showing 112k kilometers (~69k miles), this Alpina C1 2.3 is offered by the selling dealer in the Netherlands with Alpina documentation and Dutch ownership documents. The body is finished in Polaris Metallic (060) with bright window trim and Alpina graphics and pinstriping. Exterior equipment includes Alpina-specific badging and front and rear spoilers as well as integrated fog lights, front and rear tow hooks, dual power-adjustable side mirrors, a heated rear window, and twin polished exhaust tips. The seller notes that the hood and front fenders have been repainted, and cracks are visible on the front spoiler. Twenty-spoke Alpina 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/50 Vredestein Sportrac 5 tires. Power steering came optioned from the factory, and braking is handled by ventilated discs at all four corners. The cabin features sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in black cloth with green and blue stripes and black vinyl sides. The fuel-injected 2.3-liter inline-six utilizes Alpina-specific Mahle pistons and an upgraded ignition system for a factory-rated output of 170 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, and the C1 2.3 featured a unique exhaust system compared to contemporary E30s.
