in Classics is pleased to present to you this 1987 560SL. This man luxury roadster comes to us today dressed in its original coat of pagne paint with only 75,851 actual miles on the odometer. The paint looks great from 5 feet, but a closer inspection reveals imperfections that put it in the driver quality category. This 560SL comes equipped with a removable body-color hardtop and a great looking burgundy soft top that folds into the boot, both in fine order. h front and rear bumpers are the '' n style'' with black rubber gaurds protecting the chrome. The horizontal grille with a large emblem is flanked by side-by-side round headlights ??“ an iconic look that still resonates almost 40 years later. work is abundant with gleaming window trim, dual side mirrors, side molding, and rocker covers. Wrap-around tail lights and a third brake light on the trunklid accent the rear of the car. This SL still sits atop its factory alloy wheels that are wrapped in good-looking elli P600 tires.

Lift the hood to reveal a bone stock engine bay that is home to a 5.6 liter V-8 that was originally factory-rated at 227hp. The V-8 is mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission with rear-wheel drive ??“ a bullet-proof drivetrain that's perfect for a journey to anywhere. While under the hood, you'll notice that this is equipped with power steering and working A/C that has been retrofitted to 134A. Stopping power is provided by power brakes (front disc and rear drum) with ABS.

Open the drivers door to find an exceptionally well-preserved original burgundy interior. The comfortable leather bucket seats have no rips or tears, but both seats have some door-side bolster wear. The door panels are both in great condition with what appears to be original hardware. Between the seats is a fold-down armrest and a center console with beautiful burled wood inlay. The console is home to the shifter, power window controls, and an electric toggle for the passenger side mirror. The wood trim flows up from the console to the center of the dash and surrounds the automatic climate controls that crank out cold A/C and hot heat. Above the climate controls is the original Prix AM/FM/Cassette stereo. The stereo seems to get power, but is currently inoperative. A crack-free black dash pad sits above a cluster of working circular gauges. There is an all-in-one gauge with temp, fuel, oil, and econ as well as a speedometer and a tachometer with clock. Beneath the gauges is a row of warning lights. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel complete with an airbag. On the column are controls for the 3-speed wipers and cruise control. The burgundy carpet is in very good condition and there is a set of OEM carpeted floormats in the trunk. Behind the seats is a carpeted storage area with a first aid kit. The interior also features rear defogger (hardtop only), a thermometer, a power antenna, and dual lighted vanity mirrors.
