This 1990 Reynard R90D/022 is an open-wheel racer that reportedly competed in the 1990 Formula 3000 season with Colin Bennett Racing before being sold to Amalfi Racing in 1993 and Rasme Tugberk Racing in 2011. The car is powered by a Mugen 3.0-liter V8 and was reportedly refinished in its current green and blue livery following its purchase by RM Motorsports in 2013. Additional features include a Reynard 5-speed gearbox and manually-adjustable carbon fiber wings. This R90D is offered with a Michigan bill of sale. The car is said to have been part of the Colin Bennett Racing team from 1990 through 1993. The previous owner had it painted in 2013 to resemble Michael Schumacher’s debut Formula 1 seat, the Jordan-Ford 7Up car of 1991. The 7UP, Shell, and Goodyear graphics are vinyl according to the seller. Manually-adjustable carbon fiber wings are present front and rear. The car has reportedly raced once since the 2013 work. Avon tires are mounted on wheels fitted with single hex nuts. The Mugen MF-308 3.0-liter DOHC V8 features carbon fiber air intake flutes and “bundle of snakes” exhaust headers. When new, the engine would have made 440 horsepower and was controlled by a Zytek ECU and Lucas CID ignition system. The engine is said to be numbered MS3081304, and is mated to a Reynard 5-speed manual gearbox. The drivetrain is currently devoid of fluids according to the seller.
