This 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata was acquired by the seller in 2019, reportedly after an extended period in storage with its first owner, and subsequently modified by V8Roadsters with a 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine and a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission. It is also fitted with a Getrag differential with a 3.23 gear set as well as Panasport 15″ wheels, Wilwood front calipers, and Mazdaspeed-specification rear calipers. Approximately 3k of the car’s 10k miles have been added under current ownership. Finished in red over black cloth, the car also has a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, power windows, and air conditioning. This NA Miata is now offered in New York with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Classic Red and equipped with a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top and top boot, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, and painted mirror caps. Panasport 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/50 Toyo Proxes R1R tires. Braking components include Wilwood front and Mazdaspeed rear calipers. The car is equipped with power steering, an independent double wishbone suspension, and front and rear stabilizer bars. The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, and power windows. Service in 2024 involved replacing the window regulators, window bushings, 3rd Millennium M800 door speakers, and a replacement rear finish panel. Lizard Skin sound-dampening material has also been installed. The cruise control has been removed. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine setup was sourced from and installed by V8Roadsters in November 2020. A Fluidyne radiator is installed, and Cadillac CTS-V-specification components include the accessory drive, starter, and water pump. The revised exhaust system has a single outlet in the stock location. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and a Getrag rear differential with a 3.23 gear set. A replacement bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, and slave cylinder were also fitted at the time of the transmission install. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
