1990 Mercedes-Benz Unimog

This 1990 Freightliner Unimog 419 was a US military vehicle and is powered by a 5.7-liter Mercedes-Benz diesel inline-six paired with a manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in drab camouflage, and equipment includes a hydraulic front-end loader, a rear-mounted backhoe, storage lockers, work lights, and a snorkel. The truck was overhauled in 2006 by an Army Depot and acquired by the seller in 2016 for use on a farm. The engine oil and hydraulic fluid were recently carried out. This Unimog 419 is now offered with a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name. The Unimog 419 was classified as a Small Emplacement Excavator and was used by the US Army as an engineering vehicle. Instrumentation includes an inclinometer, a 65-mph speedometer, and a 3,200-rpm tachometer. The six-digit odometer shows 76 miles, 22 of which were added by the seller. The 5.7-liter Mercedes-Benz OM352 diesel inline-six is paired with a manual transmission featuring eight forward gears and four in reverse. The engine oil and hydraulic fluid were reportedly changed yearly during the seller’s ownership. The seller notes the gear change from first to second can stick on occasion, and rust is present on the front bumper, air filter housing, and exhaust.
