This 1992 Nissan Skyline GT-R was imported from Japan to Canada under prior ownership and acquired by the seller in 2017. Subsequent work involved refinishing the car in white, installing a single-turbo kit, disabling the four-wheel steering system, overhauling the suspension, and replacing the five-speed manual transmission. The 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six was also rebuilt and features a later-model cylinder head, an HKS V CAM system, a Haltech ECU, an E85 flex-fuel system, Custom CP pistons, and Nitto connecting rods. HKS adjustable coilovers have been installed along with Nismo control arms, tension rods, and 18” LMGT4 wheels. Interior changes include blue front bucket seats, a Key’s Racing steering wheel, a Haltech iC-7 digital instrument panel, and a Bluetooth-capable head unit. This modified GT-R is offered in Canada with build records, spare parts, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name. The car was repainted white under current ownership and features an Abflug front diffuser, bumper air ducts, Nismo-style side splats, a carbon-fiber hood lip, a Hasemi Motor Sports decklid spoiler, and a rear wing with a carbon-fiber extension flap. Paint chips and blemishes are shown up close in the gallery below. Black 18″ Nismo LMGT4 forged alloy wheels are wrapped in 275/40 Yokohama Advan Apex V601 tires that were mounted in 2022. A GKTech HICAS delete kit has been installed along with HKS MAX IV SP adjustable coilovers, Nismo control arms and tension rods, aftermarket strut tower braces, polyurethane suspension bushings, and replacement ball joints, tie rods, and sway bars. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs equipped with EBC slotted rotors, Hawk pads, and Project Mu braided hoses. The cabin features blue Bride Euroster reclining bucket as well as two-tone gray rear seats and door panels. A carbon-fiber center console bezel has been fitted along with a Pioneer Bluetooth-capable receiver, aluminum pedals, a white Nismo shift knob, an Element fire extinguisher, and Nismo-branded floor mats. A Key’s Racing steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts a Haltech iC-7 digital display. Auxiliary gauges are located in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 4k kilometers (~2,500 miles), and total mileage is unknown. A removed instrument cluster is included in the sale and shown in the gallery. The 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six has been modified with a Spectrum Motorsports single-turbo kit and is said to be equipped with a cylinder head sourced from a 1999 Skyline GT-R. An E85 flex-fuel system has been added, and management is provided by a Haltech Elite 2500 ECU. Further equipment includes a Mishimoto radiator, a remote oil filter housing, a Turbosmart regulator, a Wiring Specialties sub harness, a Radium fuel rail, dual Walbro HELLCAT fuel pumps, Injector Dynamics ID300X injectors, and a Platinum Racing Products trigger kit and ignition coils. The engine was rebuilt in 2020 by Saint John Engine Rebuilders of Saint John, New Brunswick, utilizing the following components: Custom CP pistons Nitto connecting rods ACL bearings PRP block brace HKS V CAM Step 2 system Tomei adjustable exhaust timing gear Manley titanium valve springs and retainers N1 oil pump ARP fasteners Dyno test results from July 2023 are presented in the gallery. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a replacement R33-sourced five-speed manual transmission and an ATTESA all-wheel drive system. An OS Giken RC3 triple-disc clutch assembly has been installed, and the clutch hydraulics and drivetrain mounts were also replaced during the build. Photos taken during various stages of the build are presented in the gallery. The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration. Filed under: gtr, r32, skyline
