This 1992 Porsche 911 Turbo is an Austrian-market coupe that spent time in Italy and Germany before being imported to Canada by the selling dealer in 2021. The car is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over black leather upholstery and powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 17″ Cup wheels, a power-adjustable sunroof, a rear wiper, front sport seats, air conditioning, and a Becker Mexico stereo. The engine was rebuilt in 2017, and a Porsche Classic Certification process was completed in September 2021. This 964 Turbo shows 116k kilometers (~72k miles) and is now offered by the selling dealer in Canada with partial service records, accessories, a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate, a clean Carfax report, and Ontario registration. Introduced in 1990, the 964 Turbo featured widened bodywork when compared to the standard 964, as well as aerodynamic side mirrors and a fixed rear spoiler. This example is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (L37W) and features front fog lights, a power sunroof, and a rear window wiper. The selling dealer states the front fascia and portions of the rear fenders were refinished, and a scratch is present on the rear spoiler. Paint meter readings of various body panels are provided in the gallery below. The 17″ Cup wheels are mounted with Continental PremiumContact 6 tires measuring 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back. The Turbo features uprated brakes compared to the standard 964, including larger calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The cabin features power height-adjustable front sports seats upholstered in black leather and complemented by a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Additional equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, Porsche-branded floor mats, and a Becker Mexico stereo. Wear is visible on the left door panel. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, and an analog clock, as well as gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 116k kilometers (~72k miles). The lens is opaque on the combination gauge displaying fuel and oil levels. The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque and features a top-mounted intercooler. The engine was rebuilt in Germany under previous ownership in July 2017, while service in June 2021 included replacing the new drive belt and distributor cap in addition to an oil change. The battery was recently replaced by Porsche of London in Ontario. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information: L37W – Midnight Blue paint VD – Black leather upholstery C11 – Version for Austrian market 383 – Sports seat, left, electrical height adjustment 287 – Sports seat, right, electrical height adjustment 650 – Sunroof The Porsche Classic Technical certification process was completed in September 2021 by Porsche Zentrum Hannover in Germany and lists initial delivery to Austria, factory powertrain numbers, and an October 24, 1991 production date.
