1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E & E500

This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E is powered by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Black Pearl Metallic over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes 18” AMG Monoblock wheels, a power sunroof, fog lights, Automatic Slip Control, automatic climate control, a Becker cassette stereo, heated power-adjustable front seats, and cruise control. The car has remained registered in Ontario from new through the seller’s acquisition in 2014, and work performed since 2020 has included fluid services and replacing the engine harness, temperature switch, and battery. This W124 500E is now offered in Canada with US and Canadian Carfax reports and Ontario registration. The 500E was assembled by Porsche and featured wheel arch flares, revised bodywork, and a lower ride height when compared to other W124 models. This example is finished in Black Pearl Metallic and features gray lower cladding. Additional exterior details include headlights with washers and wipers, integrated fog lights, a retractable antenna, and a power sunroof. The Canadian Carfax report shows damage in April 2018, and the seller notes that the grille, headlights, and fog lights were subsequently replaced. The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in beige leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. An obsolete mobile phone remains installed in the center console, and interior appointments include automatic climate control, a trunk-mounted CD changer, a Becker cassette stereo, dual front airbags, and cruise control. The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 260-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 86k kilometers (~54k miles), approximately 33k of which were added under current ownership. A mileage inconsistency is noted on the Carfax report in an August 2009 entry. Total mileage is unknown. The 5.0-liter M119 DOHC V8 was factory-rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The radiator was replaced in 2018, the engine harness and temperature switch were replaced in June 2020, and the battery was replaced in 2021. An oil change was performed in 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage, the aforementioned mileage inconsistency, and lists registration history in Ontario.
