This 1997 Nissan Stagea 260RS is one of approximately 986 Autech Version series 1.5 examples and was acquired by the seller in Japan in May 2021 before it was imported to the US in 2023. Finished in Silky Snow Pearl over black and gray cloth, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes a NISMO Sports Resetting ECU, Mine’s Öhlins coilovers, Brembo disc brakes, gray 18″ Gram Lights 57DR wheels, automatic climate control, a Kenwood eXcelon Bluetooth stereo, and BlackVue front and rear cameras. This Stagea Autech is offered at no reserve with Japanese literature and a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name. The body is finished in Silky Snow Pearl (WK1) and features an Autech-specific front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, rear wing, and side skirts. The seller reports that the right side skirt was repainted under current ownership. The trim pieces beneath the roof rails are weathered, and blemishes in the finish are pictured in the gallery below. Gray 18″ Gram Lights 57DR wheels are mounted with 225/45 Falken Azenis FK510 tires that were manufactured in 2021. Moca wheel spacers are fitted along with Mine’s Öhlins coilovers and a front strut tower bar. Braking is handled by black Brembo calipers over discs at each corner. The seller states that the control arms, ball joints, and CV axle boots were replaced under current ownership. The front bucket seats and contoured rear seats are upholstered in black cloth with gray centers that are accompanied by matching door panel inserts. Appointments include automatic climate control, a Kenwood eXcelon Bluetooth stereo, a cargo area spotlight, and BlackVue front and rear cameras, as well as power windows, door locks, and side mirrors. The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel is worn and fronts a 180-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Auxiliary instruments for front torque bias, oil pressure, and boost pressure are positioned in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 86k kilometers (~53k miles), approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The total mileage is unknown. All 260RSs were powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six from the contemporary R33 Skyline GT-R, and this example has been fitted with a NISMO Sports Resetting ECU. The timing belt was replaced in December 2022 at 83k kilometers (~52k miles), and reported service under current ownership involved performing fluid services and replacing the water pump, camshaft seals, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, thermostat, and battery. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. The Fujitsubo 3″ stainless-steel exhaust system incorporates a NISMO high-flow catalytic converter. The seller notes that the clutch and lightweight flywheel were swapped for NISMO components under current ownership, and the pressure plate was also changed.
