This 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge race car is said to have been first sold by Ferrari of Beverly Hills and subsequently spent time in a collection in Osaka, Japan, before it was reimported to the US. The car is finished in white, and power comes from a 3.6-liter DOHC V8 paired with an F1 six-speed sequential gearbox. Features include a single Recaro carbon-fiber racing seat, 18″ BBS wheels, adjustable racing dampers, an OMP roll cage, a Magneti Marelli LCD display, and a carbon-fiber rear wing. This 360 Challenge was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 and is now offered in California for track use only with a bill of sale. Fewer than 200 360 Modena Challenge race cars were reportedly produced. This example is finished in white and features dual exhausts that exit through the rear bumper cover along with front and rear tow hooks, a rear grille, an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing, and Lexan rear and side windows. The body panels show evidence of previous removal and detailing according to the selling dealer. Factory 18″ BBS wheels are mounted with 235/40 front and 295/30 rear Yokohama Advan A050 tires. Adjustable racing dampers were standard on 360 Modena Challenge models, and braking is handled by multi-piston Brembo calipers and slotted rotors all around. The cockpit features a single Recaro carbon-fiber racing seat with a Schroth Racing harness, an OMP roll cage, a center console switch panel, carbon-fiber door panels, and a battery mounted in the passenger-side footwell. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts shift paddles and a Magneti Marelli LCD display. The car is said to show 16 hours of operating time, and total mileage is unknown. The 3.6-liter quad-cam V8 features five valves per cylinder, remapped ECU software, stiffened engine mounts, and a Setrab transmission oil cooler. Output was rated at 410 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque in Challenge specification. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
