2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello

This 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello is a Canadian-market example powered by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Grigio Titanio over black leather upholstery. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, aftermarket exhaust components, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, a gated shifter, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. The car was initially delivered to Brian Jessel Sport Cars of Vancouver, British Columbia, prior to being purchased by the seller in 2007 and now shows 50k kilometers (~31k miles). Work since August 2021 consisted of refinishing the wheels and interior sticky components in addition to reupholstering the dashboard and re-dyeing the driver’s seat and left door panel. This 550 Maranello is now offered with factory literature, a tool kit, spare keys, partial service records, spare parts, US and Canadian Carfax reports, and Ontario registration. The 550 Maranello was styled by Pininfarina, and this example is finished in Grigio Titanio. Additional details include projector-style headlights, fog lights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover. The lower sections of the bumper covers and side skirts were refinished under prior ownership, and a February 2006 entry of the Canadian Carfax report lists a glass claim. No damage or accidents are noted on the US Carfax report. Paint meter readings as well as close-up photos of imperfections, paint chips, and cracking in the finish are presented in the gallery, and the alarm horn has been disconnected. Gray-finished 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 295/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires showing 2012 date codes. Braking is handled by red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. One of the wheels was refinished in August 2021. The power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are upholstered in black leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, a CD stereo, and rear luggage straps. The driver’s seat outer bolster is worn, and blemishes are visible on the left door panel. Sticky interior components were refinished and the driver’s seat and left door panel were re-dyed in August 2021, and the dashboard was reupholstered in May 2022. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 340-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 50k kilometers (~31k miles), approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership. The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management for a factory-rated output of 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. A cylinder head was rebuilt in August 2016, at which time a timing belt service was also performed. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The mufflers have been removed and straight pipes were fitted in their place.
