2002 Plymouth Prowler

This 2002 Chrysler Prowler was acquired in August 2014 by the seller, who sold the car on BaT in July 2020 and re-acquired it in February 2022. Finished in Deep Candy Red Pearl Coat over a black leather interior, it is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that drives the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes staggered chrome-finished wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, a six-disc CD changer, and aftermarket front suspension covers. This Prowler has 8k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. Approximately 300 of the 11,702 Prowlers produced between 1997 and 2002 were finished in Deep Candy Red Pearl Coat, all of which were built during the final year of production. A rear-hinged trunk houses the black soft top when stowed. Polished stainless-steel covers have been added to the exposed front control arms, and the front bumpers have been removed. Chrome-finished 17×7.5″ front and 20×10″ rear wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 295/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires. Rack-and-pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes are additional elements. The bolstered seats are trimmed with Agate leather upholstery. Amenities include air conditioning, a six-disc CD changer, power windows and locks, cruise control, and keyless entry. A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames an AutoMeter tachometer mounted on the steering column, and the body-colored instrument panel has a centrally mounted 150-mph speedometer. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the seller. The 3.5-liter High Output V6 was factory rated at 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque when new, which is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
