This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is #145 of a reported 200 examples of the 1953 Commemorative Edition models produced by Advanced Automotive Technologies of Rochester Hills, Michigan. The build involved fitting replacement C1-style body panels, and the car is finished in red with a beige convertible soft top. Power is provided by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include beige leather upholstery, 17″ and 18″ aluminum wheels, power-adjustable seats, a head-up display, a CD stereo, and a Bose sound system. This C1-style C5 Corvette was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered at no reserve in Florida with a clean South Carolina title. The “1953 Commemorative Edition” conversion by Advanced Automotive Technologies included replacing the body panels with C1-style bodywork using the factory attachment points. The car is finished in red metallic with a beige convertible soft top, and additional details include chrome bumpers and trim, retro-style lights and badging, wire mesh headlight guards, and quad exhaust outlets. Polished 17″ and 18″ aluminum wheels wear Anniversary Edition emblems and are mounted with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Falken Azenis tires that show 2020 and 2021 production date codes. The car is equipped with traction control, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The power-adjustable bucket seats are upholstered in beige leather with “Commemorative” and crossed-flag embroidery. Appointments include a head-up display, seat position memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a Bose audio system, and a Hurst cueball shift knob. A plaque on the panel between the seats identifies this car as 1953 Commemorative Edition #145. The two-tone steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 47k miles. The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in April 2024. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential with 3.42:1 gearing. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery. The Carfax is free of accidents or other reported damage.
