This 2008 AM General M1151A1 HMMWV was decommissioned from United States Marine Corps service before it was acquired by the seller out of California in 2022. This latest-revision Humvee was designed to conform to ECV RevB requirements, and some of the design enhancements include larger Wilwood disc brakes, a heavy duty transfer case, helical gears in hubs, cooled differentials, a larger cooling fan, a separate parking brake, LED auxiliary lights, and an upgraded air conditioning system. Power comes from a 6.5-liter Detroit turbodiesel V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes portal axles, 16.5″ wheels, air conditioning, and a Bluetooth-integrated military VIC-3 intercom system with four crew stations and noise canceling headsets. Components for the fuel and electrical systems were replaced in the past year along with drivetrain fluids and the tires. This HMMWV shows 14k miles and is offered with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name. The vehicle’s Integrated Armor Package was removed, except for the top armor, from the slant-back body before the seller acquired the truck, which was subsequently refinished in its current shade of tan and fitted with replacement body mounts. The roof has a turret close-out plate, and additional exterior details include a front brush guard, an air intake snorkel, an airlift-style rear bumper, and a rear pintle hitch. Multi-piece 16.5″ wheels are wrapped in 37×12.50″ Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar tires mounted in 2024. The brake fluid, rotors, and pads were replaced during current ownership according to the seller. Front and rear bucket seats are trimmed in green cloth and include the a combat-restraint seat belt system. The four-passenger cabin has dual air conditioning, cupholders, USB charging ports, and an intercom system with Bluetooth and radio connectivity. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an 80-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges, and a tachometer is mounted overhead. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 14k miles, fewer than 1k of which were added during current ownership. The 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 is linked with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and portal axles. The throttle linkage was repaired in January 2023, at which time fuel lines and drivetrain fluids were replaced along with the batteries and their terminals. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below. The data plate shown above displays the serial number 330593, which is listed as the VIN on the Texas title.
