2008 Lotus 2-Eleven & 3-Eleven

This 2008 Lotus 2-Eleven was sold new in Portland, Oregon by Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo and traded in to the selling dealer toward a 991 GT3 Cup Car one year ago. It now shows just 3,451 kilometers (2,144 miles) and is claimed to be stock aside from an RTD brace and a center seat conversion performed by Rothsport at a cost of nearly $10k. Power comes from a supercharged 1.8-liter 2ZZ-GE inline-four paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, which can propel the ~1,600 pound vehicle from 0-60 mph in around 3.8 seconds according to period testing. The car was serviced and inspected prior to this auction, and it is now being offered with a binder of information, some service receipts, and a spare used front splitter. This 2-Eleven is sold on a bill of sale as a race car. The black painted exterior consists of 13 fiberglass panels that are bolted to the chassis, and the car has not required any body repairs to the seller’s knowledge. The suspension system utilizes unequal length wishbones, adjustable Öhlins dampers, and an adjustable front sway bar. The factory 16″ front and 17″ rear Lotus Sport alloy wheels are shod in Hoosier R7 racing tires sized 205/45 and 225/45 respectively. Each corner is detailed in the photo gallery below. The original owner reportedly had three 2-Elevens and commissioned Rothsport to perform a center seat conversion on this example. A Recaro Pole Position seat is equipped along with a Schroth harness. The 2-Eleven includes an 18-position traction control system, where the first position on the rotary control allows seven degrees of yaw and each subsequent position allows progressively more oversteer until the traction control is turned off completely. Currently, the odometer shows just 3,451 kilometers (2,144 miles). The seller states that this to his knowledge, this 2-Eleven has never formally competed on-track. The 2-Eleven utilizes the same Toyota-sourced, supercharged 1.8L 2ZZ-GE engine and 6-speed manual transmission found in the 2008 Lotus Exige S. The setup produced 252 horsepower when new, and the seller states that a mechanical service was completed around one month ago.
