This 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 is a Canadian-market example finished in Carrara White over black leather and Alcantara, and power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Sound Package Plus, 19″ silver-finished wheels, bi-xenon headlights, a sunroof, an adjustable rear wing, and heated sport seats. The car has remained registered in British Columbia since new where its 7k kilometers (~4,600 miles) have been added, and the selling dealer recently purchased it. Work completed in August 2023 included pinning the coolant line fittings and replacing the rear main seal, front chin spoiler, battery, spark plugs, and stone guards. This 997.1 GT3 is now offered in Canada by the selling dealer with a Porsche certificate of authenticity, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, recent service records, a clean US Carfax report, and a clean British Columbia registration. The 997.1 GT3 is distinguished from contemporary 911 Carrera models by its aluminum front trunk lid and doors, more aggressive front and rear fascias, an adjustable rear wing, and center-exit exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Carrara White and features bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-dimming mirrors. The front chin spoiler and rear stone guards were replaced in August 2023. The 19″ silver-finished alloy wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires said to have been installed in August 2023. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over 13.8″ rotors. The GT3 was factory equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) featuring adjustable coilovers. A brake fluid flush was completed in August 2023. The cabin features heated hard-back sport seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara. Other interior equipment includes the Sound Package Plus, cruise control, and carbon-fiber GT3-branded door sill guards. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 350-km/h speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 7k kilometers (~4,600 miles). The 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six features VarioCam variable valve timing as well as titanium connecting rods and dry-sump lubrication. It was factory rated at 415 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Work in August 2023 reportedly included pinning the coolant line fittings and replacing the rear main seal, center radiator, spark plugs, fuel filter, and battery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Porsche certificate of authenticity, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, and recent service records are included in the sale.
