This 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels via a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. It is finished in black over black full leather upholstery and features a black soft top, the Sport Chrono Package, 19″ GT2 wheels, bi-xenon headlights, a deployable spoiler, heated power-adjustable front seats, PCM with navigation, Bose audio, a wind deflector, and automatic climate control. The car was first registered in Texas and has remained in the state through the current owner’s acquisition in 2019. This 997.1 Turbo cabriolet has 92k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with service records and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name. The car is finished in black and features a black convertible soft top, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, side air intakes, flared quarter panels, a deployable rear spoiler, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists damage to the front with airbag deployment in May 2015, and the seller notes paintwork on the front bumper cover as a result. Scuffs on the underside of the front lower lip and chips in the windshield are shown up close in the gallery below. Silver-finished 19″ GT2 wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include aluminum-look interior trim, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, a wind deflector, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Wear on the driver’s seat outer bolster and the backside of the right-front seat is shown in photos below. The leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 92k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership. The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage in 2015 and lists history in Texas. Filed under: 997, 997 turbo
