Make: SUPERLITE

This Superlite SL-C was reportedly built by H Craft Customs of Buford, Georgia and is powered by a 7.0L LS7 V8 with wet-sump lubrication mated to a Lamborghini six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The fiberglass bodywork is finished in white with a red roof over a race-prepped interior housing a single fixed-back bucket seat, and equipment includes a full roll cage with door bars, a fire suppression system, air conditioning, power steering, Penske coilovers, a rear-view camera, Racelogic traction control system, MoTec data-logging system, adjustable carbon fiber rear spoiler, StopTech brakes, and 18” CCW wheels. This Superlite was acquired by the current owner approximately a year ago and is now offered on their behalf by the seller at no reserve in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with a set of wheels, spare tires and other parts, a folder of documentation, a certificate of origin, and a bill of sale. The SL-C features fiberglass body panels mounted over a TIG-welded tubular aluminum monocoque frame. This example is finished in white, and exterior details include a red roof with an integrated scoop, an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, an aluminum rear diffuser, LED taillights, butterfly-style doors, carbon fiber front fender vents, and exhaust pipes exiting ahead of the rear wheels. Rock chips are shown up close in the gallery below. Black-finished 18” CCW wheels are mounted with Avon slicks. According to the seller, the car rides on Penske coilovers with pushrod-activated rear suspension and stopping power is provided by StopTech Trophy four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers along with slotted rotors and a Tilton bias adjuster. A spare set of wheels with tires, a second set of tires, and spare suspension components will accompany the vehicle. The stripped interior houses a single fiberglass bucket seat as well as Schroth harnesses on the driver and passenger sides. Additional equipment includes a full roll cage with door bars, a fire suppression system, air conditioning, Tilton pedal box, gated shifter, power steering, a rear-view camera wired to an overhead monitor, USB outlet, and a Racelogic traction control system with launch control. A fixed-back Recaro bucket seat for the passenger side is included in the sale and can be viewed in the gallery. A MOMO three-spoke steering wheel with a quick-release and a Summit Technologies Raptor wireless button overlay frames a MoTec C125 digital display with integrated shift lights. An AutoMeter Cobalt 160-mph speedometer is mounted in the center of the fiberglass dash. The digital odometer shows approximately 200 miles. The mid-mounted 7.0L LS7 V8 crate engine reportedly features a wet-sump lubrication system along with a Pyrotect fuel cell, a Holley lift pump with a surge tank, electric fuel pressure sending unit, and a Bosch high-pressure fuel pump. A 2015 dyno graph provided in the gallery shows a peak output of 506 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Lamborghini six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential and upgraded half shafts. Additional underside photos are shown in the gallery. The seller has been unable to locate a chassis number on the vehicle.
