The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 ga is a variant of the Carrera 3.2 that debuted in 1984 as a successor to the 911SC ga. The Carrera 3.2 ga was built in the “narrow-body” semi-convertible body style and was powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2L flat-six that sent drive to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Initially, the Carrera 3.2 ga featured Porsche’s 915 gearbox, but starting in 1987, these cars were fitted with Getrag’s G50 manual gearbox, a marked upgrade from the 915. Production of the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 ga lasted until 1989, with a total of 18,468 examples built.
