This 1971 Fiat 500 is an Italian-market example that was modified in the style of a Jolly model following its acquisition by the selling dealer in April 2023. Work during the refurbishment is said to have involved overhauling the 499cc inline-twin as well as repainting the body in red and installing wicker seating, a striped surrey top, chrome grab rails, side safety ropes, and a removable storage basket. This Fiat 500 Jolly conversion is now offered at no reserve in Piacenza, Italy, with Italian registration. The body was modified in the style of a Jolly model and was repainted red under current ownership. The car features a striped surrey top with white fringe as well as a removable storage basket, side safety ropes, and chrome bumpers, trim, and grab rails. White-finished 12″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with Nuvolari TN-1 Radiale whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The interior houses front wicker bucket seats that fold forward for access to the rear bench. Additional appointments include black carpets, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a floor-mounted shifter with a red shift knob. A two-spoke steering wheel frames a Veglia Borletti 120-km/h speedometer that displays suggested shift points. The five-digit odometer shows 412 kilometers (~256 miles). Total mileage is unknown. The rear-mounted 499cc inline-twin is said to have been rebuilt during the conversion and is fed through a single carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below. The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its Italian registration.
