This 1959 Volkswagen Type 2 is an 11-window model that was built on March 18, 1959, and was acquired by the seller in 2016. The bus subsequently underwent a refurbishment that included a repaint in Mango Green and Seagull Gray, an interior refresh with Caramel Brown vinyl upholstery, and the installation of a replacement 1,300cc air-cooled flat-four. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transaxle, painted steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, two hinged side windows, semaphore turn signals, and a 12-volt electrical system. The 1958 Eriba Puck camper trailer features side windows, a pop-up roof, and a table that converts to a sleeping surface. This Type 2 and Eriba Puck trailer are offered in Athens, Greece, with a removed 1200cc engine, refurbishment photos, a Volkswagen Classic Parts certificate, free shipping to New York or European destinations, Greek registration for the bus, and a bill of sale and an FIA Historic Regularity Car Pass for the trailer. The 11-window bus left the factory finished in Mango Green and Seagull Gray, and the body was separated from the frame, stripped to bare metal, and refinished under current ownership. Exterior details include painted front and rear bumpers, dual chrome mirrors, semaphore turn signals, right-side barn doors, two hinged side windows, and a rear liftgate. White-painted 15″ steel wheels wear chrome VW-logo hubcaps and are wrapped in 195/70 Continental ContiVan Contact tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The cabin features three rows of bench seats that were reportedly reupholstered during the refurbishment in Caramel Brown vinyl with white piping. Additional details include a white dashboard, white vinyl accents on the door panels and walls, and black rubber floor liners along with sun visors, a package shelf, and a passenger grab handle. The white two-spoke steering wheel features a Wolfsburg crest and sits ahead of an 80-mph VDO speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The replacement 1,300cc air-cooled flat-four was reportedly overhauled before it was installed during the refurbishment, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The bus is equipped with a 12-volt electrical system. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery. The 1958 Eriba Puck camper is said to be the 6th unit produced by the Hymer factory. It was refinished to match the bus and features a right-side entry door, two sliding side windows, bright trim, and a rolling tongue jack. The pop-up roof is fitted with a perimeter screen and is supported by a scissor brace. Interior amenities include a storage cabinet, European-style power outlets, an overhead light, a table, and bench seats. The table folds flat to form a sleeping surface. A delivery-status certificate from Volkswagen Classic Parts indicates manufacturing and delivery dates, original equipment, and the factory color scheme. The bus is being sold in Athens, Greece, which does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration. The trailer does not have a title and comes with an FIA Historic Regularity Car Pass and a bill of sale.
