1967 Volkswagen Split-Window Camper

This 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia is an SO-42 camper that was the subject of a multi-year refurbishment that came to completion in 2016. Shortly after, it was awarded a 2nd place ribbon in its class at the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance in Murphys, California, in 2016. The bus is finished in Pearl White over tan leather upholstery, and the replacement air-cooled 1.6L flat-four is equipped with single-port cylinder heads, a Solex 28 PICT-1 carburetor, and a Pierburg carburetor governor. Further details include a four-speed manual transaxle, gear reduction boxes, wood interior paneling, a flat-folding rear bench, an insulated cooler, a faucet, storage cabinets, fold-out tables, a footstool, residential-style outlets, and privacy curtains in addition to 14″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, a pop-up roof, a roof rack, a shore power connection, five jalousie side windows, and safari-style cargo glass and windshields.
